Louisville Orchestra presents Festival of American Music II: The Jazz Influence


Teddy Abrams is soloist on the piece for piano and orchestra that broke the barrier between classical and jazz. Rhapsody in Blue  by George Gershwin is the brilliant featured work on this Festival of American Music concert. LO commissions and premieres complete this exciting program.

SCENE at the Center, our small plates eatery, offers bar and food service two hours prior to most performances in Whitney Hall and the Bomhard Theater. Kitchen service ends as the curtain rises, but beverage service will continue throughout the performances and extend through midnight on Friday and Saturday nights.
