2019 GSA Prep Workshops

GSA Prep Workshops have concluded for the 2019 Application Season! Thanks to our hosts and participants for making them a success!

GSA Prep Workshops (each workshop includes an Info Session)

PREP WORKSHOPS  focus on providing feedback to students on their Preliminary Round Application audition/portfolio materials. Students spend a morning in a group led by a teaching artist, receiving feedback on their prepared materials and observing while other students receive feedback. Students are then encouraged to stay for an info session later in the day.

Participation in a Prep Workshop does not affect the odds of a student's application being forwarded on to Final Round nor a student’s chance of being accepted into the GSA Summer Program, but it can help a student be more prepared for both.

Workshop Classes include:

Creative Writing Manuscript Workshop
Dance Workshop
Instrumental Music Solo Workshop
Monologue Workshop
Portfolio Review For Architecture + Design or Film + Photography
Portfolio Review For Visual Art
Solo Song Workshop

*Not all classes will be offered at all workshop sites.

Students MUST pre-register and pay $10 to attend a prep workshop.

Parents, teachers, counselors and other friends of GSA do not pay a registration fee but are welcome to attend as well.
